18th June 2007 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 30-15 knots Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 17ºC Sea Temperature: 16ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Wind suddenly picked up to a nice 25-30 knots so I headed across to the beach with my naish Hybrid Freewave and a 5m and 5.7m sail. The wind had eased once I got there so I rigged the 5.7m and waited. It came back for a while and I was able to get up and planing and have a nice little blast. Nothing special, a few little hops of the chop and more power than I was expecting, but eventually the wind eased again and I struggled to get going. tried out my new short-sleeved wetsuit too.... Only a cheap one but it does the trick when the water is warm. |
